William (Bill) Husson
Vice President, New Ventures & Strategice Alliances

Dr. Husson is the Vice President for New Ventures and Strategic Alliances at Regis University. New Ventures is the consulting and program development arm of the University. The organization manages a highly successful online consortium of over 80 colleges and universities and provides a variety of consulting services for many clients in higher education. Bill also serves as the Board Chair of the University's innovative corporate training company, Regis Learning Solutions. He is also the Regis Coordinator of a novel program offering university courses and programs online to refugees at two United Nations refugee camps in Africa. He has established a number of international joint programs and serves as a Regis representative on the board of a group managing dual language programs in the United States. For over 20 years Dr. Husson supervised the growth and development of the University's professional studies programs. These programs serve over 12,000 learners annually in accelerated, graduate and undergraduate programs on multiple campuses and online. Bill holds a doctorate in Human and Organizational Systems from the Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, California.

 

Tom Kennedy
CEO, New Ventures Inc and Associate VP for Institutional Partnerships

Tom came to Regis College in June 1986 from the College of St. Francis (1978-86) in Joliet, Illinois where he served as Director of Graduate Studies and Corporate Education. He was Vice President for University Services and Dean of Students at Lewis University (1967-78) and taught and coached high school students from 1962-67. Tom holds a Bachelor's Degree in English from Lewis University (1962) and received his M.A. in Cultural Studies from Governors State University (1972). He was named to the Basketball All-American Team while attending Lewis University and maintains his interest in sports and recreational activities. He was the recipient of the Outstanding Faculty Award and named Administrator of the Year and Outstanding Alumnus during his time at Lewis. He was also selected as the Lewis University “Distinguished Alumnus” for 2002.

 

Reneé Lovato
Business Manager
New Ventures, School for Professional Studies

Reneé joined New Ventures in 2000. She provides administrative support to New Ventures’ Partnership Services staff, and coordinates the annual and regional conferences. Reneé is currently enrolled in Regis University's School for Professional Studies Program. She is working toward a BS in Business Administration with a minor in accounting and an emphasis in finance, with plans to earn an MBA.

 

Maureen Hencmann
Associate Director of Curriculum & Faculty Development
New Ventures, School for Professional Studies

Maureen comes to New Ventures with eleven years of Distance Learning experience. She received her undergraduate degree in Special Education from member school, Avila University. Advanced degrees are from University of Denver (MBA) and University of Colorado Denver (MA Instructional and Learning Technology). She is an active affiliate faculty in the School of Education and Counseling. Maureen has worked with a wide array of courses and has trained online facilitators from all four schools in Regis University College of Professional Studies. She has lent her design expertise to such Regis programs as Computer Science, Teacher Education Reading and Educational Technology specializations, Organizational Leadership, MBA and worked with the National University of Ireland, Galway to develop an Irish Studies certificate program and a joint degree MS in Software Information Systems.

 

Adam Samhouri, PMP
Associate Director, Partnership Services (Online Curriculum Design and Management)
New Ventures, School for Professional Studies

Educated at Brigham Young University, Adam received his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering. He attended Utah State University where he earned his MS in Instructional Technology in 1994. Since that time he has worked with several professional companies as a Lead Instructional Designer and or as a Project Manager. He worked for the USAF, Ameritech Library Services, Arthur Andersen, MicroStrategy, Jones International University, University of Phoenix, and as an independent Education Consultant. Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP®) with PMI, Adam applies the project management methodologies in the design, development, and implementation of educational and training programs.

 

Darlene Scollon
Associate Director of Partnership Services
New Ventures, School for Professional Studies

Darlene specializes in the development and improvement of administrative processes within institutions of higher education. She has over fifteen years experience in higher education management and has held the titles of Director of Student Accounts at Regis University and Director of Student Administrative Services at the University of Bridgeport. During her career she managed the operational areas of the Registrar, Financial Aid, and the Business Office. In addition, she has significant interface experience with Admissions, International Services, Campus Housing, and Career Services. Darlene received her BA in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Management from Regis University in Denver, Colorado in 1994.

 

Samantha Lawson
Administrative Manager, OCICU
New Ventures, School for Professional Studies

Sam began working for Regis University in 2004 and with the OCICU and New Ventures in 2006. As manager of the OCICU, she oversees the day to day operations and works with providers, members and students on a daily basis. Sam graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Arts in History.

 

Ann Williamson
Administrative Coordinator
New Ventures, School for Professional Studies

Ann Williamson has been with Regis since 2002 and has served at Administrative Coordinator to Dr. Husson since then. She has worked with closely with Regis Learning Solutions, Regis' state certifications, assisted on countless projects and currently, in addition to her regular duties, she coordinates services for the Jesuit Commons Higher Education at the Margins project. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Master of Arts in Creative Writing at Regis. She now helps with New Ventures projects and supports the New Ventures staff.

 

Jessica Wallace
Administrative Assistant, OCICU
New Ventures of Regis University

Jessica has been working for Regis University since 2004 where she worked with the CPS Admissions team and then moved to the CPS Marketing department in 2009 as Administrative Coordinator for the creative team. Jessica currently works part-time supporting the OCICU where she assists the OCICU manager handle the daily operations for the program and acts as the Regis University liaison for member schools and students. Jessica graduated from Regis University with a Bachelor of Science in 2010.
